We spent the morning at Joaquin Miller Park, playing with them on the playground equipment and running them up and down the stairs so they’d be happy and get all the running out of their systems.  We got a couple of balloons at the store, and my mom came over after their nap to open [...]

It’s hard to believe, and at the same time, it feels so totally normal.   Justin and I were home last night, and  I was lying on the floor, and Ronin was driving cars over me and Claire was leaning over to see how close she could get to my face (pretty close) and I [...]

It has suddenly occurred to me that my little babies are turning TWO this upcoming weekend, and any “children under two are free” benefits that we might have enjoyed will be vanishing forever.  So I hurriedly looked up a couple of activities I’d always planned on doing and never got around to, like visiting MOCHA.    [...]

It is a hot week!  Last weekend we went for a walk at Huckleberry Botanical Preserve.  It is nice and shady, with narrow trails winding under tall trees and occasional glimpses out across a steep canyon and a sweeping view.  It’s a great place for a walk on a really hot day.
My mom bought a [...]
