Claire prefers being on her tummy and she has gotten really good at rolling over.  I was trying to take a video of her rolling over but whenever she was placed on her back she flipped over before I could focus.  I had to enlist Mom’s help to capture her rolling over on this video.

The two grandmothers

We all gathered at Dinah’s house for Thanksgiving.  I overheard this exchange between Doris and Jan:  “You have the cutest grandchildren!”  “Thank you!  I must say, you have the cutest grandchildren too!”  I think they were both right.

Tummy time

We bought a thick play mat for the living room floor and got rid of the rug.  They have a much larger surface for tummy time now.

Claire was resting in her swing (it wasn’t on) when I stepped out of the room to change Ronin. A few moments later I came back to find her trying to crawl out of the swing! It’s definitely time to start using the seatbelts on them.

Cute baby discount

Although babies are expensive, and I don’t recommend having them solely to enjoy the few discounts they bring, we learned early on in our road trip to bring the whole family in when asking about prices at hotels, etc.  We received a “cute baby discount” on more than one occasion.
